David joined the WMC in October 2015. Originally from Northern Ireland, he graduated from the Queen’s University Belfast in July of 2000. He spent time working as a GP Principal in Lurgan, Northern Ireland before deciding to make the move out to New Zealand with his wife and three boys on a trial basis.
David’s interests lie in Diabetes and Cardio Vascular medicine, minor surgery and organising GP group teaching. He is currently on direct pathway to joining the Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and has completed PRIME training in May 2016.
David and his family are really enjoying their adventure and therefore are extending their time with us.
